Déjà novembre et l’automne est bien en cours avec les feuilles colorées maintenant plus nombreuses au sol que sur les arbres. Difficile de croire que c’était il y a seulement quelques mois lorsque nous étions en Californie profitant du magnifique studio LATI si bien géré par Katsuji et Julia et l’opportunité d’apprendre et d’être inspiré par le seul et unique Yuta Kato. Nos têtes étaient si pleines de toutes les informations très riches et détaillées dont Yuta nous a fait part que nous ne faisons encore qu’entailler la surface de tout ce que nous avons couvert. Tellement de petits détails à travailler, mais nous apprécions le défi. Nous sommes très reconnaissants et inspirés. Merci, Yuta, pour ton temps, ton énergie et ton dévouement à l’art du Taiko. Merci également à Katsuji et Julia d’avoir mis à disposition les belles installations du studio LATI. Nous avons été émerveillé par le talent incroyable de Unit One, ainsi que par celui de Unit Two ! J’espère que beaucoup d’entre vous ont eu l’occasion d’assister à leurs incroyables concerts de Shiki et de Shinki-itten, en personne ou en ligne. Nos cœurs sont pleins et nous avons de quoi nous occuper pour les mois à venir !
Already November and well into Fall with the colourful leaves now more numerous on the ground than on the trees. Hard to believe it was only a few months ago when we were in California enjoying the beautiful LATI studio so well managed by Katsuji and Julia and the opportunity to learn and be inspired by the one and only Yuta Kato. Our heads were so full from all the very rich and detailed information that Yuta had to share with us that we are still only chipping away at the surface of all that we covered. So many little details to work on, but we’re enjoying the challenge. We are very grateful and inspired. Thank you, Yuta, for your time, energy and dedication to the art of Taiko. Thank you also to Katsuji and Julia for making the beautiful facilities at LATI available. We were blown away by Unit One’s amazing talent and hard work and also that of Unit Two! Hopefully many of you had the opportunity to catch their incredible Shiki and Shinki-itten concerts either in person or online. Inspiring taiko for sure and taking things to a whole other level! Our hearts are full and we have lots to keep us busy for the months ahead !
